He was awarded the 2016 Templeton Prize in recognition of his \u201cexceptional contributions to affirming life\u2019s spiritual dimension.\u201d Rabbi Sacks is the author of over 30 books. Knighted by Her Majesty The Queen in 2005, Rabbi Sacks served as the Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the Commonwealth between 1991 and 2013. In addition, Rabbi Mintz is a member of the Talmud faculty at Yeshivat Maharat and has taught as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at City College, New York for the past six years. Rabbi Mintz received his rabbinical ordination at Yeshiva University and obtained his PhD in Jewish History at New York University. He writes the MiliMiliM &#8211; Hebrew Corner on the site, and his book about the Hebrew language, Roots and Routes: The Hebrew Experience is due to come out in 2019 from Behrman Publishing House. He has a BA from Harvard and a doctorate from the Hebrew University. She was a Fellow at the Paideia Institute of Jewish Studies in Stockholm, where she continues to serve as a consultant. She received her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and is a graduate of the Bruriah Scholars Program in Advanced Talmud Studies at Midreshet Lindenbaum. A past gabbai of Yale&#8217;s egalitarian minyan, she has spent three summers studying at Yeshivat Hadar, a traditional egalitarian yeshiva on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
